This is one of four circular pieces from a set I call My Grief. Among the four, it carries the most visible mark, a bold rust-hued imprint sweeping across the side like a wound that has surfaced. The texture crackles beneath the glaze, quietly speaking of tension and pressure that was once held in. At the centre sits a stained flower.
This piece reminds me that grief often leaves a mark. It stains but it also reveals. And in that revealing, healing begins, not by erasing what was felt, but by allowing it to take shape - to be seen and to be honoured.
