This is one of four mini bowls from the Smaller Than Small set. Almost a chawan, but too small to be one, it mirrors how often I've made myself smaller than I needed to be, shortchanging myself of the life I want to live. With a gentle peach interior, it holds space in soft, quiet ways. The hand-painted flowers around its sides echo the tenderness of learning to take up space again. Where I once stayed silent, I'm now learning to speak with care, with colour, and with presence.
