This is one of two cups from the To The Surface set. It holds a quiet intensity, burnt red on the outside with a soft lilac on the inside, echoing the inner work in therapy. What was once hidden is now being brought to the surface, to be seen, honoured and understood. The contrast between the outside and the inside reminds me that healing happens when we turn inward and allow what is there to surface.
